Stop 1
Buffalo Trace Distillery
First we’ll visit Frankfort Kentucky - both the state capital and home to the world famous Buffalo Trace Distillery. Here you can enjoy a guided tasting of their world renowned bourbons and even stop in the gift shop for a memento bottle or two!

Stop 2
Whiskey Thief Distilling Co.
A short drive into the countryside later, at Whiskey Thief Distilling Co., you will be able to sample directly from an assortment of barrels while learning about the bourbon making process in a relaxed and upbeat atmosphere.
- 5 pour straight-from-the-barrel tasting included
- Optional short (10 minute) guided tour included
- Fill your own bottle directly from the barrel!
Stop 3
Lunch at The Stave
Our favorite lunch destination is The Stave, located near Woodford Reserve and Castle & Key in Woodford County, KY.
The menu consists of country cooking classics with a modern touch. We highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese on top!
Other great restaurant options are also available upon request - please note that lunch is not included in tour pricing.
Stop 4
Elkwood Farm
Our final stop of the day will be at Elkwood Farm, located in the countryside near Midway, KY. This craft distillery sits on the site of a 200 year old farm, and has been newly renovated! The relaxed atmosphere delivers everything you would expect from a classic rural Kentucky distillery. They are best known for offering innovative new-generation expressions, such as their Blue Corn Bourbon and Elkwood Reserve Small Batch.
